Condensed Specification for CanDor Pre-engineered Wood Door Frames and Partition Walls.

Pre-engineered door frames, glaze frames and related millwork components as indicated on the architectural drawings shall be as manufactured by CanDor Interior Specialties Inc. of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Frames shall be constructed using premium grade medium density fibreboard (MDF) substrate, wrapped with single piece, "A" grade veneers, as recommended by the Architectural Woodworking Institute for Premium grade millwork. Species to be specified.

Veneers shall be applied by means of a continuous hot melt lamination system. Veneer splices or finger joints are not allowed. All profiles shall be fully finished sanded, and corners shall be factory mitred and doweled to eliminate lateral movement at the joints. Frames shall be factory machined for hardware as specified. Frames shall be fitted with concealed fastening systems for assembly and installation. No visible fasteners are permitted.

If frames are to be ordered pre-finished, they shall be factory stained to match control sample, and/or finished with at least two coats of clear top coat, AWI#3 finish.

Fire rated frames shall carry the appropriate Warnock Hersey Labels.
